Step Feeders & Log Decks

At KMH Systems, our Step Feeders are specifically designed to handle single timber logs efficiently at a speed rate of 13 to 18 pieces per min on the single acting hydraulic step feeders and 18 to 32no pieces per minute on the double acting Step Feeders.

Our step feeders use a series of staggered steps to gently lift and single the logs of various diameters ranging from 70mm to 600mm and from 2 meters to 6meter long, ensuring a smooth and controlled flow onwards in the line to de-barking, scanning and grading.

Our Log Decks provide a sturdy loading platform to feed the timber logs to the step feeders, optimizing throughput and reducing handling time. Both solutions are built to withstand heavy-duty use, ensuring reliable performance while minimizing wear and tear, making them ideal for operations in your timber log or lumber facility.
