Biogas, a renewable energy substitute for natural gas, can be derived from the wet organic fraction which has undergone a process known as anaerobic digestion. For many companies, anaerobic digestion is not an option unless they have the facilities to adequately separate waste into wet and dry fractions.
We provide a unique single step solution to this problem via the Orex press (Formally VM Press) which separates the waste into two fractions – wet (organic) and dry (non-organic). We can also provide cleaning of the wet fraction using the Cyclone Separator. Any contaminates remaining in the wet fraction such as sand, stones, grits and plastics can be removed via the cyclone. The dry fraction undergoes an additional process of separation of commodities and cleaning to create a saleable product, RDF (Refuse Derived Fuel) or SRF (Solid Recovered Fuel).
Through the Orex press system, we can provide you with:
- An Economically viable solution to mixed and food waste treatment/ disposal
- An environmentally sustainable recycling process
- Renewable energy fuel
