Our automatic sorting lines separate co-mingled recyclables into 2D (light and flat materials such as paper, plastics and textiles), 3D (heavy and round items such as wood, cans, containers and bottles) and fines. IMT’s ballistic separator allows the incoming waste to be split into these three fractions. Further automated sorting such as plastic, paper and metal separation can be included to provide a clean and saleable end commodity.
